Going to school has put a bit of a creative cap on my nail art streak... Anything I put on my nails has to come off for class, so I haven't been putting too much work into them! The other night I was practicing my application on my roommates, and all the nail polish floating around made me want to do something wintery and fun. This is what I came up with!

It`s similar to a "Frosty Tips" look I did last year, but I switched up the angles and used a darker base blue for a more sophisticated look. Read on for the breakdown...

So October 25th was my 22nd birthday, and I did these nails that morning so I could have something awesome and sparkly to look at during my celebrations :D Check it out!

It's called Hypnotize, and rightly so. This beautiful, yellowy antique gold has an amazing effect on the nails, and glides on like a dream!

Killer Combo NOTD ♥♥

Hey guys!

So recently I got a big haul of goodies from ELF, including 8 brand spanking new nail polishes (click here if you wanna check out my haul blog!) including one named Fairy Dust. Upon seeing this polish on the website, I fell in love, and it was the first one in my cart. When I got them, while I was playing around and swatching, I thought of this combination, and when I tried it out I kinda died.

LOOK HOW PRETTY

Slight wear and tear on this shot, I'd worn this to work already, but you get the point!

It's a combination of ELF's Fairy dust layered over top of Maybelline Color Show's Twilight Rays.

It's surprising the amount of orange and gold that shows through from the Fairy Dust, definitely not what I expected by looking at the bottle, but gorgeous nonetheless.

A while back I bought my first two nail polishes from Maybelline's Color Show line. I got them at a fantastic price of $2.97! For the price I wasn't expecting very much, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got around to trying them out! Here they are...

I got two different finishes to see how they would each apply, so I could get a better feel for the line.

Today I'm coming at you with a look inspired by the brand Tokidoki - If you haven't heard of this brand, you've probably seen it (:

These are only some of the characters you'll see in the world of Tokidoki, crowding the face of all of their merchandise. It's basically an overflow of adorable japanese inspired characters. They've got all kinds of merchandise, I've got an agenda and a keychain from this brand. They've also recently started a like of cosmetics, available at Sephora. 

But let's get on to the manicure, shall we? Check it out!

This is the end result of my inspiration! Definitely a little simplified in comparison to the original, but I think it looks very "Tokidoki" (: I think this is the first time I tried writing on my nails, and it went pretty well, in my opinion!

Today I come to you with this really detailed, really stand-outish nail look! I've seen tribal nails around more than a few times and I can't believe it took me this long to get around to doing them, but I finally did, and I'm in love! Check these puppies out...

REALLY bright and colourful, which brings that kind of pop-art feel, the combination of the two styles is super eye catching. If you have the time, this look is very fun to wear!
