Hey guys! So these nails caused me a little bit of grief and a good chunk of time, but I wanted to get them as perfect as I could! Check these puppies out!
These nails were originally inspired by the graphic lines and movement in comic books, but it took a few twists and turns and went so much further than that =P I decided to skip the POW and BLAMO wordy type nails, because as awesome as that is, I think it's been done. I wanted purely graphics for this look. Keep reading to check out the breakdown! It's a big one, I used a combination of 11 polishes to make this look, holy jeez!
Alright, let's dive into this breakdown...
-Rimmel 60 Seconds in Clear (base)
-China Glaze Sunshine Pop (yellow)
-China Claze Kinetic Candy (light blue)
-Rimmel 60 Seconds Stop Traffic (pink/blue duochrome)
-Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in White On
-Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Blue Me Away
-Orly Instant Artist in Crisp White
-Orly Instant Artist in Jet Black
-Orly Instant Artist in Hot Blue
-Orly Instant Artist in Platinum
-Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti Chip Top coat
...okay, that's all of em. Whew.
So when I first did these nails, I loved them, but they just weren't perfect. Imagine that! So I took them off and redid them all. After that was done, I looked at them again... then I took them off again and re-redid them. I think my problem is I don't give myself enough time to actually do these nails well, so I need to set aside like a good two hours when I want to do something crazy like this.
Nevertheless, I'm super happy with them now! All that work paid off, in my opinion (: There are certain things for certain people that brings out the passion and perfectionism in oneself. What's your passion? Do you love doing your nails? Does a perfectly polished hairdo make your day? Maybe you make one hell of a roast? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks so much for tuning in, hope your week has been amazetastic!
