So I got really excited after wrapping my friend's birthday present (her birthday is today, she's a leap year baby!)   so I thought I'd show you guys. Look how pretty and sparkly!

Quick sidenote, I've begun actually using my twitter account! I made one a while back but Twitter was dark and scary and I didn't really feel like it. Now I've figured it out and I'm looking to make some more twitter friends!

Over this weekend, I was lucky enough to have the long weekend off and Sunday/Monday with the house to myself. What's more, since it appeared I was having a weekend in, I thought, what a marvelous window of opportunity to give water marbling another college try?

Good thing I had all weekend.

But nonetheless, I persevered and finally came through the other end with... these!

They're definitely more subtle than the other marble I did, which you can check out right here!, but I love the effect.

Alas, yes, this took me forever yet again, but I took my time with it and worked through my issues, with my awesome kitten keeping my company and cheering me on, I came out the other side with pretty fingers (:

NOTD;; Acid Wash Denim Inspired Nails! ♥♥

Hey all! This time around I got inspired by acid wash denim, and really wanted to do some nail art that spoke to that theme. In my musings for inspiration, I found a technique on youtube that involved layering your polishes and then streaking away at them with polish remover to get an acid washed look. Too cool for school, so obviously I had to try it out! Look at these puppies...

So neat, kind of like a tie-dye effect on the nails, and it's something anyone can do! Read on to learn more!

Valentine's NOTD;; We Found Love... & A VDay Collabo with April Bee! ♥♥

Hey everyone!

I've had these nails on for a few days now, and I LOVE THEM. I was dying to post this NOTD but I couldn't, because it's actually a Valentine's Day Collaboration with my girl April! I did a Share the Love Sunday on her, you can check that out right here! She's super cool and we get along swell. his nail is inspired by Rihanna's song We Found Love she did with Calvin Harris. It's kind of a techno-alternative style for Valentine's Day, because I didn't feel like doing the lovey-dovey thing.
